story proposal
State senate bill 5952 modifies the description of "sexual orientation" in the harassment law. Originally it applied only to bi-sexual, homosexuality and heterosexuality. Now it also relates to gender identity and self image. Last year on campus there were problems with harassment directed at the gay community. I wanted to see how the passing of this bill affects campus procedure as well as Pullman laws. Have there been any changes in the charges? Any recent harassment complaints?
